James Carter, James Wicks, Louis Brown, Harry Hamilton-Warford, Badger Skelton, Sam & Sonny Fordery were the winning combination for the Battalion Figure Marching Competition. They rose to the occasion with a very smart performance of the figures. James Carter was the leading boy and Harry was the second boy in the team who were key in remembering the order of the figures.
Louis Brown captained our Bible Quiz team who included James Wicks, James Carter and Badger Skelton to victory in the battalion competition – the results being sent on to the London District Competition so we will need to wait and see how we did in that.
We also won the Battalion competition that used the International team game games – our scores again are being forwarded to BB HQ to see how we did compared to other companies around the world.
We also had successes in the individual competitions - Louis Brown came 3rd in the individual drill; James Carter came 3rd in the Connect 4 competition; Badger Skelton came 1st and Louis Brown 3rd in the Photography competition.

Last week several members of the Junior Section spent the week in the heart of the Quantock hills on our annual Junior Section Holiday. This year’s theme was the Movies, and the boys had a very full week of activities which included Go Kart building and racing, camping out, and archery all based around the theme. Although the weather wasn’t at its best particularly at the start of the week, it certainly didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the lads, who all thoroughly seemed to enjoy the week.
